IT OVER. My two month exam period is over. With a passing score in 2 out of my 3 exams I would call that a success. The one exam (histology) I didn't pass yet I will sit for again in April.
Over the past two months other then eating and breathing my life/schedule consisted of the following.
7 or 7:30 wake up. at the beginning I would go for a run starting around February I just dressed and went to the study hall at school
8:30-10:30 study. this was my favorite time to study as the study hall is quiet. Most people are either in class or not there yet.
10:30 Coffee break
11-1 study
1pm lunch
2-4 study
4 coffee break/snacks from the market break
4-7:15 study
7:30 dinner. Because I live in the residence we have dinner prepared at a restaurant monday thru friday which was a life savor.
8:30-10 call home, study, watch tv.... PASS OUT to start it all over the next day.
Needless to say after two months of this I was/am a little burnt out. We all complain that its hard and we are crazy for doing it but we all love the topics or we wouldn't be here. I get four days of vacation here in milan and then I start classes all over again monday :-). For my vacation I plan to not plan. For anyone who knows me knows this is hard and probably impossible but I am going to try. Things at some point I would like to do are the following...
Check out the aquarium again (favorite place in all of milan)
scope out the donut shop in Loreto which I hear is amazing
tomorrow we are going to IKEA and the mall
maybe a run here or there we will see.
More or less I am going to just sleep relax and recharge because monday my life as I know it will end... but to be honest I wouldn't have it any other way :-)
Till we meet again,
-M-
Sounds intense! Tell us about your dinners? What have been your favorite? Do they include wine? What is your chef's name? Please do a whole blog on the restaurant and take a picture of the chef so that I can share with my cooking classes! Also, How did you celebrate at the end of found one exams? And were you also taking classes while you were studying for exams? What was that trip to Parma about for dissection? Congrats!
